life affecting decisions of unmarried pregnant young women,
and their families.
- Parenting and adoption education – Women
at Faith Haven are educated about what to expect from pregnancy,
labor and delivery. They have important decisions to make
when pregnancy is completed and are given an opportunity to
learn about all their options, such as adoption, the basics
of childcare and parenting.
- Educational and vocational development
– Among the many opportunities for development at Faith Haven,
women can pursue their high school education at Naples Central
High School and collegiate-level courses at nearby Finger
Lakes Community College. Faith Haven assists in finding appropriate
work settings for those women interested in developing job
skills and creating a future source of income.
- Abstinence education is provided for
residents as well as community groups
